Our Law Office specialises in penal and immigration law ensuring versatile and comprehensive legal services.

The clients of the Law Office often include persons who remain abroad on a permanent basis and wish to resolve their issues related to penal as well as family law in Poland. We are open to work with foreigners and ensure full service in English.

With respect to penal law, we provide support at each stage of the proceedings starting from preparatory proceedings through court proceedings up to and including cassation proceedings, and enforcement proceedings, as well as issues related to the penalty of deprivation of liberty.

Regarding immigration law, we provide comprehensive service in matters related to obtaining a temporary residence permit, a permanent residence permit, EU long-term residence permit and visas. We also assist in matters related to the confirmation of Polish citizenship, recognition of a person as a Polish citizen, and granting citizenship by the President of the Republic of Poland.

Advocate Maciej Bartnik is a member of the Kraków District Bar Association. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration, Specialisation in Law at the Jagiellonian University. He has defended his master’s thesis at the Department of Penal Law in computer crime with top grade. He is a graduate of the International Business and Trade Program at the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America in Washington, Jagiellonian University.  He held a scholarship at the Tilburg Law School of the Tilburg University in the Netherlands. He has completed his advocate’s training in Kraków.  He runs his Law Office in Kraków. He has been practising law since 2008 and specialises in penal and immigration law.
